BATMAN THREE JOKERS #1     DC COMICS

With all that is going on in the current Batman universe, Geoff Johns’s reminds us how great the Batman, the Batman Family, and the Rogue’s Gallery can truly be! From concept to final product, this title is spot on! Flashbacks of the various scars on Bruce’s body and the maniacs who gave them to him, the concern of Commissioner Gordon’s face as he speaks to Batman and Batgirl (knowning that that his daughter under the mask), Cameos by some of the Joker’s best moments including Joker Fish, razor sharp playing cards, Pow! Biff! and (my personal favorite, Gaggy!) highlight the Joker’s long career! But the most unique thing in this book is the implied idea that the Joker isn’t just one man but a succession of Jokers who try to built a better Joker with every incarnation. Color me dumbfounded! Add in Jason Fabok’s stunning artwork and the various layers of color by Brad Anderson that simply elevate the awesomeness of this story, and you cannot lose! I have no choice but to give this a 10 out of 10 Grahams.
