You should because our good buddy and happy new father, hey Gwen, nearly every week, shares a list of the bestselling new comics of each week called, amazingly enough The Graham Crackers Comics Top Dogs list.

And my favorite part of that list each week, is seeing how different my tastes and my store Wheaton’s tastes are from the collective results of all 13 Graham Crackers Comics locations.

I usually, possibly, great big maybe, read 1 or 2 or the top 5 books. Not all tastes align with what’s currently popular, nor should they.
My customers usually prefer roughly the same books but frequently in a different order with a surprise title or two. Wheaton’s customer base, is as always, full of shocks and awes comparatively.
Anyway, what does this have to do with this thing (the article you are reading if you got this far) analytics* say you are not reading enough? *(I can’t back that up but… as we discover each week, if people read and used our newsletter more often, you would not be begging us for a copy of Battel Beast #1 this week, because you would have pre-ordered it months ago and not have to worry about FOMO. PS FOMO is an Acroyer (ahem) acronym for that anxiety you feel when a website or YouTube influencer tells you that having Battle Beast #1 is the most important thing this week. Which is super funny because at the time of writing this article I had more subscribers than copies sold of the last 3 issues of Invincible.)
Well, I had no idea what to write for this here article… I was going to regale you with tales of FCBD, but that came out too depressing. Then I was going to help you fight the FOMO. Especially fight it so that we, your Graham Crackers Comics family, can make sure you get the books you want and also help all the other Joes, Matts, Victors, get theirs as well. But that would mean I had the answer. And boy, I tried, but I do not have the answer for FOMO. Particularly for comic books. I can’t get someone to add Batman to his club pull after buying it for 159 issues. So, what chance to I have to get you to order things a measly 3 weeks before it comes out, instead of days or hours. Oh well.
