I loved X-Men when I was a kid as much as I do now. So it's no surprise that the first comic book I read was X-Men Adventures, which was based on the FOX Kids cartoon show. I was given a subscription to it as a birthday present from a friend, which was awesome because I was then able to enjoy X-Men more often than once every Saturday morning. What was even better about the subscription was that, after I got my 11th issue, Marvel cancelled the series, only to replace it with a similar book of a similar title. It was changed to Adventures of the X-Men or something like that. Anyway, since I still had one issue left of my subscription from the previous title, not only did it carry over, but as an apology for the cancelation, I was given a full susbcription to the new comic. Before that subscription ended, the title was cancelled and the same cycle started over twice more, until the 4th one finally went past 12 issues. It was awesome.
