After weeks on the run and battling the monsters of Asgard through the WAR OF THE REALMS, Eddie Brock finally has a moment to catch his breath. But without his symbiote, getting even the basic necessities will become a challenge for Eddie Brock. Which means that keeping his son, Dylan, alive will be too!

No Symbiote check
No Magical Dreamstone to give you powers check
New Dad with no parental skills at all check
Eddie is done dealing with crazy witches and realms invading realms, he finds himself finally getting a chance to breathe with his son. But with great parenting comes great responsibilities and Eddie has to roll his sleeves up and get to work. This issue has our main protagonist (?) figuring out who he is and what is he without his symbiote.
Juan Gedeon does the interiors for this issue and I loved his work when he did Savage Land Spider-Man during the Spider-Geddon event. His Venom almost reminds me of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and that is not a bad thing at all! The only short comings to this issue is some panels in the spread were removed or not printed but Donny Cates posted it on his Twitter so check that out, and the odd coincidence that the 1st thing Eddie does leads him to exactly what he needs to find. All and all this issue hit me in the feels with being a father and realizing how far you would go for your children, no matter the cost or tax on your being.
Next up is ABSOLUTE CARNAGE if you are not signed up for this event please please please let your store know! This is an event you cannot miss the chaos that will ensue shall shape the marvel universe for years to come!
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
