• Once the worst nightmare of New York's criminal element, Eddie Brock has been living a nightmare of his own, cut off from the symbiote's personality and now dealing with the resurgence of the cancer that once ravaged his body.
With no one else to turn to, Eddie must revisit THE MAKER - the only person who's been able to provide ANY insight into what's been going on with the alien symbiote of late... Rated T+

What a way to end a story arc, with the next couple of issues being a part of the War of Realms event I am left on the edge of my seat for the continuation of what is to come. We left Eddie Brock coming to the revelation on his relationship with the symbiote we know and love Venom. We spear head that conclusion and man does it feel satisfactory and yet upsetting in some ways. The new path that Venom chooses for himself is a development of character that we have seen slowly bubbling to the top back when Venom was bonded with Flash Thompson. Now that we are 12 issues in Donny Cates has taken over as my favorite writer for Venom ongoing. I can tell since issue #1 that he has been crafting a storyline that is reminiscent of Jason Aaron run on Thor. Something big is building up and that is why we have had all these twists, turns, and developments that have you hanging off the edge of your seat. If you are not reading Venom yet, you should be!

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
