 Terminators have history on their side. They know who will successfully remove them from power AND time travel. Go back, kill John Connor, bloop! Humans lose. Following up on the best idea in the underrated Terminator 3, Brian Wood sets out with the idea that there are other members of the resistance that could be killed to weaken Connor's support staff. With that in mind, meet Lucy Castro, NYC cop...with a secret! Du-Du-Dun!! Cue the musical sting, some Brad Fiedel, and we're off. Drawn with a very manga-esque style by Jeff Stokely, this is a perfectly serviceable start to a Terminator story, just one w/out the inspired hook for Wood's recent Robocop series from Boom.
