Both fans and detractors of Brian "The Great One " Bendis know that he has the ability to infect a universe. it's up to you whether that makes you think of Ebola or the song "Happy". Heroes in Crisis didn't really impress me, I don't find most Metal related books to be precious in any fashion, and I'm growing increasingly annoyed watching the Doomsday Clock, waiting for the bell to ring. This however, is an excellent package, as it's an great jump-on point that will satisfy both the current Superman reader and anybody who's just vaguely interested in the DC Universe. Year of the Villain is fine, but all of these books have villains all the time. Leviathan is basically Scourge, only much cooler, and generally drawn better. Highly recommended for anybody reading the Superman books, anybody reading the Batman books, and those who fondly remember when Jimmy Olsen was a turtle.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
