BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
Kieren Gillen is the only name you're going to recognize in Star Wars Annual #1. OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but you get one hero you know as a hologram, one um, political leader, for the Empire (yeah, we'll go w/ that), and new people. The new people include artist Angel Unzueta, who acquits himself nicely in his solo Star Wars debut after helping on Shattered Empire. If you want a good explanation for why the rebels stay away from Coruscant, this a a terrific read. It's also topical for our current situation in both television and politics, where the truth is whatever people want it to be, no matter how many facts might get in the way. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
