Star Wars Age Of Rebellion Princess Leia #1

$3.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Greg Pak
(A) Chris Sprouse
(CA) Terry Dodson, Rachel Dodson
BOUNTY HUNTER PRINCESS! With HAN SOLO frozen in carbonite in the palace of JABBA THE HUTT, PRINCESS LEIA prepares for a daring rescue by taking on the identity of the bounty hunter BOUSHH. But in order to succeed, she'll have to prove herself in her new identity to the ruthless bounty hunter BOSSK! With her life and all of her principles on the line, how far will Leia go to rescue a scoundrel? Co-starring CHEWBACCA and LANDO, who almost certainly have a bad feeling about this! Rated T
Date Available: 04/03/2019
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Easily the best of the Star Wars character specials (so far), probably because they're working with actual characters now. Greg Pak, Chris Sprouse, and Karl Story give clear art in a clear story with characters we know in ways that are recognizable for how they would act based on previous time spent with them. What a crazy idea, Rian Johnson.

MVP goes to Karl Story, who makes Will Sliney and Marc Deering look enough like Sprouse that you can barely tell he only penciled half the issue. Barely.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
