The events of issue one are followed up by finding out that everything in town is dirty, down to Coach Boss' former player/current Sheriff. How do you fight against a town? With a baseball bat. Possibly from God. It's possible we've jumped into Preacher or Mage supernatural territory after the closing pages. I'm hoping that's not the case, but I love where we're at right now.
