Southern Bastards #6 (2014)

If you've been upset that all the crime in Southern Bastards had been getting in the way of the football, this issue is for you. Who Coach Boss is, and WHY Coach Boss is, turns out to be pretty compelling stuff. It's a mean book- chickens and feet have the roughest go of it- but, (and its a small but), ((but a but nonetheless)), Coach Boss didn't have to have a rough childhood to overcome. It's possible the message here is that the only way to overcome the horrors of the south is to be worse than what's already there (and that would kind of explain a lot, wouldn't it?). It's also possible Jason Aaron just likes to write about ACTUAL trash in trailers. You get good stuff either way.
