The massive events of issue #300 presented them with a problem so huge that the only solution is way back in the past.  What If? A spider-Man comic was just fun and enjoyable? Relax, True Believers! This one has it all! Time travel, Doc Ock, J. Jonah Jameson, sneaking through windows to avoid Aunt May, Nick Fury, and the Green Goblin. Face Front, Merry Marchers, this is the one you demanded! I mean, yeah, the Red Goblin thing is cool and all, but remember when Spidey used to be fun? If you don't, it was, and apparently can be again. Highly recommended for those who bailed after a rocky start, the child buried withing the adult-sized MeatMecha that walks with your name i.e. The Kid Who formerly Collected Spider-Man, and anyone who enjoyed the latest Howard the Duck series.
