This Black Mirror-style anthology examines the rapid proliferation of technology, the cultural and political polarization of the country, and the technocrats that have driven us to such extremes of thought that we need to present the present as something…futuristic. Each of the five issues is a stand-alone tale with its own art team. In this issue, a medieval king comes up with a novel punishment for a storyteller whose tales hit a little too close to home: a house made of glass so that every aspect of her life is put into public view.

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

If the first issue was 'Black Mirror', this issue is 'Black Glass'. An excellent mediation on a certain someplace where the subjects might just hear something they don't want to hear, or see something they don't want to see. Beautiful period artwork by Ramon Rosanas invokes bits of Colleen Doran and Bryan Talbot, creating a medieval style fantasy world that's clean even when the subject matter dirty, and light even when the subject matter is dark. After two smash issues, this series is an easy recommend to follow til the end.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
