Three fantastic fables in one mighty magazine! First, a tale of Logan in the fabulous fifties! Then, a new swinging story of the jungle's cursed crusader, Gorilla-Man! Finally, Reed Richards and Victor Von Doom enter the space race as Sputnik takes orbit! Rated T+
Date Available: 04/17/2019
BONUS REVIEW by "Doc" Schaefer

The new version of Marvel Comics Presents seems to be suffering from the same issues that it's predecessor suffered from. While the randomness of the stories is one of the key draws to the concept, it also acts against it. With an on-going Wolverine story acting as its base, putting in a Mr. Fantastic and a Gorilla Man back up seems too chaotic. And I love Gorilla Man! Honestly, all three tales are good and the artwork teams do a very good job. But if I'm a Wolverine fan, I have to suffer through the other two stories, etc, etc. While I applaud the idea of making a reader flip though something he or she might not normally read, in these current rough times, is it wise to put out a $5 book on a chance? Want to reward me with a Gorilla Man story, throw me a Venus or Marvel Boy story to go with it.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
