No justice, no surrender, no sense-making, no problemo! If you liked Metal, this series has just as much going on, with just as little foundation to build upon! Like a crazy mansion with stairs going nowhere and broken Source Walls, this book is a whimsical surprise. It's like Pop Rocks for your eyes!
In fact, it's a whole lot like a Justice League issue from 1974. Bad thing happens, split up into odd teams, vanquish evil and stop letting Wendy and Marvin throw parties in the Hall of Justice while doing so. It's a hoot.
Highly recommended because Starro commands it.
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
