Goon #2 (2019),
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Synopsis: The Goon's return to Lonely Street is off to a bumpy start. And it's about to get bumpier when he crosses paths with up and coming crime lord Vinnie Nosferatu.
Date Available: 04/24/2019
The story of Vinnie Nosferatu begins on 4 lovingly rough pages that feature character and depth that rivals Eisner.
Then the issue becomes a classic Vampire with a little man complex, multiple cream cheese jokes, and pee filled coffins. It fits very much within the best of what the Goon has always been. There's a mix of blood and carnage that has to be viewed as over the top, but not necessarily cartoonish. Seriously fun, and serious at the same time, which you don't often get to say about comics with nudie mags stuffed in the toilet.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
