Jason Blood and Etrigan: the best of enemies, destined to spend eternity bound together. When a haunting vision leads Jason to Death Valley, a supernatural weapon is unleashed, radically transforming not only the land, but also Blood…and the Demon. The worst, though, is yet to come, as hell begins to make its way into our world. Don't miss the start of this horrifying miniseries, where Etrigan and Blood's relationship will be changed forever!

Closer to the Brave and the Bold than to Saga of the Swamp Thing, this debut issue manages to find the middle ground between the two. I'm not sure that it would make for a good introduction to the character, but if you already were (or are a fan of wikipedia), it has some fun moments. Highly recommended for fans of Kings both Arthur and Kirby, and some who liked Justice League Dark, and though the creators took their swing (which was quite mighty), 'twas only a double, it stayed in the park.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
