The Great Darkness is defeated, but the final war has only just begun between the remaining heroes and Deathstroke's Dark Army! Who will be left standing? The Justice League and the infinite Earths have returned, but at what cost? Do not miss the shocking conclusion that launches the DCU into 2023!

Hey Kids! Continuity! It's low hanging fruit to make fun of yet another Crisis. It's as easy as looking up, seeing a red sky, and going about your day. I'd like to think of this series as the on-the-fly placeholder between the Didio DC and the one that actually gives people what they want. In the case of Batman, they give us far more than most require. But Dark Crisis was faithful to what had come before, and used that history to expand the entire DC universe, without disavowing anything. It's basically a far less lazy Death Metal that sets up the entire future of DC (along with Lazarus Planet, one suspects). Highly recommended for those who used to be DC fans, and hope to one day be again, the Wolfman & Perez Teen Titans, and Nightwing fans. Especially Nightwing fans.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
