Clone #1 (2012)

$15.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) David Schulner
(A/CA) Juan Jose Ryp, Felix Serrano
From ROBERT KIRKMAN's Skybound imprint, comes a sci-fi story like you've never seen before! Dr. Luke Taylor's perfect life comes to a dramatic halt when an identical, bloodied version of himself arrives at his doorstep with news that he is one of many clones… and they're all after his pregnant wife and their unborn child!
Date Available: 11/21/2012
BONUS REVIEW by Gavin Rehfeldt

Clone shows promise. That promise could be a bit more forthright, but the existentialist expression is appreciated. The interior art of Clone is the big highlight. The plotting and characters do not provide the optimum draw, however. I expected the stakes to be demonstratively bigger from the opening, lingering, mysteries, but Clone is holding back. Maybe this book will be a huge hit? It has that potential, but you only have one #1.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
