Bat-journal #1027 as dictated to Rick Berg. I'm tired... so tired. Dealing with the scalpers of society causes the hours of hard work to bleed together. Am I becoming more and more jaded? Am I expecting too much? Have I done this same case over and over and over? I keep searching for the big twist, the "ah ha" moment, and it never comes. Batgirl and Jason both seem to know more than I do. Again. My strength seems to fluctuate all the time. I kicked open that jail cell door easily enough but then was overwhelmed by Joker Venom addled victims. They even removed my bat belt and used it against me. I learned later that Jason also seems to be at times unstoppable and then weak as kitten. He easily defeated the Jokers goons but then was captured without a fight. Note to Alfred (who’s dead? Alive?) check blood again for new Joker toxin… Addendum to note, also check eyesight, even with seemingly years of prep time my vision feels rushed. Can’t quite put my finger on it but things just aren’t as sharp as they have been in the past. I hope this case develops into something soon, feel like I’m wasting my time. Again.

I give it 4 out of 10 Grahams
