Busiek has his own style of handing out information, of setting the stage. Sometimes it works, though here, for a third of the issue, it doesn’t, feeling forced, like stuff is planted just because it needed to be told. Yet I like the downtime, the lack of shocking villainy, as the universe is admired, and character relations take center stage. Maybe not for everyone, but for me, it was a nice rest before the journey starts again. I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
