'THE OZ EFFECT' part two! As Superman struggles with the ramifications of Mr. Oz's identity, the mysterious figure's origins and the long road to Superman's doorstep finally reveal themselves.
Date Available: 09/27/2017
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

With some snazzy writing and snappy art (from Ryan Sook no less), its beginning to look a lot like Christmas for our boy Clark. What does he find under the tree? His father.

If we're to believe it, a nice blue man, an unseen force with ultimate power, pulled Jor-El away from the destruction of Krypton just in time to save his life. He pretty much tortured him then, showing him the worst of humanity over, and over, and over again.

Doesn't that sound like the sort of thing Superman and a New York physician might talk about over 12 months starting in November? It does to me. Dan Jurgen's continues a notable run with the Man of Steel and his papa, the Man of Jerkface Intentions and a Distinct Lack of Hope.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
