BONUS REVIEW by Rick Berg

I wish more DC comics were this good. I don't even know where to start this review, mmm how about the awe-inspiring artwork? I've always enjoyed Mr. Capullo's work since Quasar, yeah that's right Quasar, not X-Force or Spawn but Wendell Vaughn himself! Move over Norm Breyfogle, Greg is quickly becoming my favorite Batman artist period. Everything is phenomenal here and I'm not even talking about the splash pages, which are neat but he takes 9 panels to beautifully choreograph a fight between Batman and Dr. Death. And speaking of panels, Greg's storytelling has never been better. The way he lays out a page leading from scene to scene, great stuff. Also his Batman Zero costume is 800 times better than the NU52 one. Just saying. Oh yeah, that Scott Snyder guy gets Batman and his cast too. We get to see the "Great Detective" in action desperately trying to figure out the Riddler's plan before Gotham is plunged further into the depths. Great stuff all around!

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
