'STREETS AND SWAMPS'! Swamp Thing comes to Gotham City with a mysterious request for Batman-but these longtime allies will have to make up for lost time and work together in order to confront a growing threat that only they can stop! RATED T
Date Available: 01/18/2017
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Many people, including ones I work with, have been down on Tom King's Batman. Vocally, aggressively, as if some personal slight has been foisted on their family and they've been forced to watch.

Those people are BANANAS. This is the fourth back to back issue of fully defining both the bat and the people in his life. All Star Batman is about the villains? Try telling that to Catwoman, murderer of 237, off to prison with a life sentence. She's given one night of freedom before she goes in, she gives Bruce the very same, and by the end has stolen more than ever before. Mitch Gerads provides tone perfect art to go with that story. It's dark, beautiful, and ugly in the honesty it dishes on the participants of this particular evening.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
