BONUS REVIEW by KIRK JACKSON

The time for talk at the house called Lovecraft is over, and the time for big bad action is here! Therefore, this issue gets right down to business. No word balloons even appear until 10 pages into the book, so there is nothing to slow the action down! What you’re left with is a truly epic battle with all of the characters’ attention focused on the violence, and once it is over, any words that are uttered mean that much more. The later scenes make great use of those “silent but pregnant” moments showing us what quiet scenes can do without dialogue. That doesn’t mean there are no words however, as our heroes make some headway in figuring out their roles in all of the craziness. The remains one of the most unique books on the stands today!
