Of course, nobody knows if it'll be worth it by the end, but this is a very promising beginning to Marvel's summer. Superior to the whimsical yet unnecessary "Countdown", this issue kicks off the Infinity Event for real. It certainly feels like it might be the beginning of a good one, Relativity speaking. We get to see who has shiny stones, and the roster is surprising in a variety of ways. Oddly, even a DC character has a stone in a different reality, leaving the door open for some both potential and unlikely Amalgamated fun in the future. There's even a concise, well designed 9 page back-up that would bring pretty much any newer reader up to speed. The cover really doesn't scream buy me, but I would. Highly recommended for those who've been waiting to March Merrily again, fans of Wolverine Son of Old Man Logan, who begat Laura and Daken, the Frank Miller Daredevil run, and those who loved Rage of Ultron.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
