This is the official adaptation of the original screenplay for Alien 3, written by William Gibson, the award-winning science fiction author of the cyberpunk cult classic Neuromancer. You'll see familiar characters and places-but not all is the same in this horrifying Cold War thriller! The crew of the Rodina quickly find themselves in a dire situation as the U.P.P. side have an unwelcome guest aboard their ship. Meanwhile, the powers that be on the Sulaco look to replace the crew with the recently recovered android, Bishop. As they push the limits of ethics and morality, the crew decide something must be done.

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Dark Horse's adaptation of William Gibson's pretty great Alien 3 script continues, and continues as a title of no note. The art is getting worse the more Johnnie Christmas is rushing to make sure it is done on time. I'm terrified that this is emblematic of larger issues going on with Dark Horse losing Star Wars, Firefly, Buffy, and Conan. Fox is owned by Disney now. Will we see Alien and Predator titles on the move as well? Really unfortunate circumstances for them, but given the quality of past Alien books they have to know this is not as good as it could have been, or needed to be.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
