BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

What you think of this book will probably depend on what you thought of 'Prometheus' as a movie. If you found it atmospheric and chilling, with visual cues to things we've seen before and technology that is clearly more advanced than what was possible in 1979(hey,that's how I felt!) everything you enjoyed in the film is present here as well. Eisner nominated team Paul Tobin and Juan Ferreyra bring a scientific team, a salvage team, and a film crew together on a mission to recover the Prometheus, lost some 125 years ago on LV-223, a planetoid located next to sister world LV-426. If that nomenclature means anything to you, you'll have an idea where this story seems to be going when a ship from Hadley's Hope is found instead of the expected salvage. Ferreyra's art has notes of Doug Wheatley in style and line work, making this book fit very well into the Alien universe that Dark Horse has already established. There's no sign of Dr. Shaw and David, but there are some old friends on the last page that are a welcome sight.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
