Vampirella's struggle to deal with the complex emotional consequences of a major disaster caused by her enemies is exacerbated by an unexpected visit from her mother, Lilith, with whom Vampi has a complicated relationship. But has the Mother of All Vampires come to help or destroy her daughter? And will Vampirella's hapless therapist survive the encounter?

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

The story continues to unfold like soft delicate petals being lovingly peeled away from a perfect...anyway, the book reads like the coolest Vampy film you never thought of. It has great art, and it's not for kids. Take that, Ghost of the CCA. If you're one of the people who's only buying it for the cover, you might want to do yourself a favor. Highly recommended for fans of one piece suits, a solid action/horror book that's not an anthology, and interstellar species relations.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
