BONUS REVIEW by "Doc" Schaefer

While I fully admit that I have never been a big fan of this incarnation of Thor, I will give this title proper credit. It delivered exactly what it promised. No redemption, no second chances, no do-overs, no last minute cures. The cancer that affects all of us in one form or another in our real lives takes the life of Jane Foster. That's all there is. Sure, she saves the universe, she saves Odin, Freyja, and Odinson, she looks the Mangog straight in his face and reminds him that it was a mortal named Jane that defeated him. Hell, she even gets that final kiss. But in the end, it is the frail, hairless body of Jane Foster that we are left with. Originally named Jane Nelson in her first two appearances in September of 1962, she has been a part of the Thor mythos since day one. This one was brutal.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
