There's always one. Empyre:X-Men was the last one. Civil War Amazing Spider-Man was another. There's always one of these that's better than it deserves to be. Do you remember Mrs Deadpool and the Howling Commandos? You do not. However, there are many who fondly recall M.O.D.O.K. Assassin. It's a big list. This story was a fun romp that managed to escape the dreary look and feel of the rest of this weeks event content. The art was stylish and nifty. Highly recommended for fans of Spider-Gwen (even if you're not following King in Black. I can guarantee this for obvious reasons), and anybody who enjoys speculating on the first appearance of two old characters...together! You know, they know that you can't resist. That's why they keep doing it to you.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
