We know that the consequences of most comic stories can be undone with the turn of a page, the end of an issue, the start of the next, or a change in the writer. For those reasons, a story has to have something working for it if the events of that story feel like they're going to be changed by those reasons listed above. THIS book has those elements. The story is clean, the dialogue is Bendis(tm!)-level excellent, and the art by Mike Deodato basically fits the material with clear visual storytelling . These components, assembled as they are, form a strong issue of a good book that leaves you with concern for these characters after what you've just read even though you know its most likely to be resolved in just one page, in just one month. I WANT to know what happens next. This book would fit in as a good book in the 70s as easily as today. (That's a compliment.)

...Apparently, the road to Civil War II is paved with ninjas.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
