Writer/artist Bob Eggleton completes his mission to do the first fully painted Godzilla comic. His painting is lush, with a nice use of color for highlights and shadow. The writing is, well, fine. I enjoyed the lack of writing in the first issue more than this. Call it personal taste. What's better than fine is that the art is influenced by Eggleton's favorite painters and compositions, bringing a historically complimented scale to to the work. IDW is two for two with this series.
