Detective Comics #1015,
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
BONUS REVIEW by Luis Barajas
For centuries children have been told to be careful about what they wish for, and after years of yearning for his beloved to return, Mr. Freeze finally gets it. But frozen hearts don't melt easily, and after years in cryostasis, Nora Fries is the ultimate ice queen. Gotham and Victor Fries will never be the same again.
Date Available: 11/13/2019
Mr.Freeze in my opinion is one Batman’s coolest rogues; he was a villain with purpose and did what he needed to with an end goal in mind. With his wife recently freed and given the same form of affliction as he bears, Mr.Freeze is ready to put the villain life behind and be with Nora, finally everything he has ever wanted. But, this sadly does not go as we all hope for Victor finally reunited with the love of his life and she wants nothing to do with him. We see Nora realize now that she is free with powers and feeling good maybe it is time to strike out on her own. On the other side of Gotham we have Batman working on a way to thaw Mr and Mrs Freeze’s victims as they suffer an ice age of their own. “Hehe ice pun”
This has been one of my favorite year of the villain storylines and it does not disappoint. As a 90’s kid I do wish there were more ice puns, but that is just my opinion.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
