Ion is the chosen one of the Green Lantern Corps, whose coming was foretold as a prophecy in the Book of Oa. But now that Kyle Rayner has been possessed by Parallax, can he ever bear the mantle of Ion again? Or will it pass to a completely new bearer? This all-important Sinestro Corps War tie-in reveals the answers, and sets the stage for Green Lantern — and Kyle Rayner — for years to come!

"A jaw-dropper of an event like The Sinestro Corps War deserves a lot more than this epilogue provides. For example, it deserves to not have a wraparound segment were Kyle, Guy, Hal and John go camping. For instance. Or, let’s say, an out of nowhere fight with Alex Nero that’s kicked off by Nero just running into Kyle in space. But that’s beside the point. What a Sinestro Corps epilogue could really use is a story that isn’t ham-strung by trying to reconcile the last two years of indecision over Kyle Rayner’s place in the Green Lantern mythology, all while ignoring the giant Countdown-shaped elephant in the room. That would’ve been a story worth telling, unlike this one."
