MY FIRST COMIC by CHRIS REYNOLDS  My first comic was Sonic the Hedgehog #61. I don’t recall anything awesome in this issue, other than the cover being done by Patrick Spaziante (Spaz). At this point in the series, Archie Comics had added many new characters to the Sonic universe - this issue involved a plot with the “Downunda Freedom Fighters.” I had been a Sonic fan since the early 1990s, but I had never heard of these characters. After reading the issue, I was hooked! I had never imagined that Archie Comics could add such substance to one of my favorite video game characters. Following that issue, I started my now nearly complete runs of Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna, Sonic X, and Sonic Universe, in addition to my love for comics! 10 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
