SHADOWLAND TIE-IN! When the Spirit Of Vengeance is summoned to the front lines of the battle for the soul of New York, Ghost Rider finds himself a pawn in a larger game, and if he wants his freedom back he's going have to head for Japan and take on the might of The Hand where its power is strongest - in its home base. But in the far east, he'll find everyone's afraid of something... even the Ghost Rider. 32 PGS.

This book will make you forget about the fact that Nicholas Cage ever went anywhere near the character. It is superior to its predecessor Elektra in every possible way as a one-shot and arguably may be the artistic style that would have been best suited to the main Shadowland title all along. Further, it notably contributes to the main plot as a whole which cannot be said of many of the other tie-in stories. Even though the Powers That Be at Marvel have been more successful at killing Daredevil than any character in the series has been, books like Ghost Rider at least make the “ride” a little less painful. Note: try and read the words “baby back ribs” without singing the Chili’s song in your head. Go ahead, I dare you.
I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
