(W) Mark Millar

A good guy dealt a tough hand, Roscoe's found the perfect Get-Out-of-Jail-Free Card in the form of super-speed pills called MPH. Now that he knows who put him away, he'll find that revenge is a dish best served…lightning fast! The all-new Millarworld Universe zooms ahead at breakneck speed with Millar and Fegredo's urban adventure tale.
Date Available: 6/18/2014
BONUS REVIEW by John Robinson

Much of Mark Millars writing is simply a twist on pre-existing characters (Superior=Shazam, Starlight=Flash Gordon/Adam Strange, Nemesis=Evil Batmn, etc). MPH is more of the same, it's the FLASH. Only Millar knows how to write for his artists so it's a visual delight to watch someone use their 'speed powers' in a comic (not an easy task to pull off in a static medium). Luckily I'm okay with character knock-offs any day of the week when it's this well written and drawn. I only wish I looked forward to reading the Flash as much as I do this book.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
