A vampire-flipped Dracula in which mortality means life . . . and life means death. Vampires Jonathan Harker, Lucy Westenra, and Mina Murray live in underground London, trying to keep the undead city safe from the rumored mortals above who seek to give them life, only to kill them. But when the authorities refuse to believe mortals, let alone the mysterious Count Dracula, are anything more than myth, they are on their own to keep their city eternally dead.

BONUS REVIEW by Rick Berg

90s Vertigo fans rejoice! Your nostalgia train has come in.
Reading and looking like a Karen Berger edited masterpiece, Mortal Terror flips the vampire script on it's head. Vampires live in underground cities and don't believe in the mythic race of mortals. Phenomenal artwork by Peter Bergting brings to life Stoker's characters we've seen 1000s of times but now desperately hiding from the sun. Highly recommended for fans of that bygone era where Sandman and Hellblazer ruled the racks! When unique and off the beaten track titles rose from the grave and out of the shadows. Buy it, try it, and need issue #2 with me today.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
