This isn’t your typical comic book, and that’s why I love it!! The first three issues set up a world plunged into a new chaotic way of living, a world on fire where civilizations disappeared and black markets are the new society. Our heroes are simple sea-bearing environmentalists searching for their lost sister vessel, The Massive.

In this issue, Cal’s pacifism is tested when he’s face to face with his past, and we find out why it’s been so important for our protagonist to resist self-preservation via bullets. The strength of character exhibited in this issue speaks for itself. Cal is a morally bound man, unwavering in his principles, who ***spoiler alert*** used to be a killing machine. Yeah, I’ll bite.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
