Future Imperfect? More like Future Perfect. I loved this issue; it was fun, action-packed, and a feel-good book for Hulk fans who love to see Ole Jade Jaws smash. Peter David revisits the world and character without missing a step: he still knows exactly who the Maestro is and how that world works. The main plot is a little predictable, but with the roundabout storytelling in the main Secret Wars book, its nice to have a pretty straight-forward book. Greg Land does a great job of illustrating just how powerful Maestro is. This book may have even dethroned Planet Hulk as my most anticipated Secret Wars tie-in.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
