Over the last decade, Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson has crafted the story behind THE MANDRAKE PROJECT, the 12-issue quarterly comic series accompanying his upcoming solo album of the same name. Now, accompanied by the creative team of writer Tony Lee and artist Staz Johnson, Bruce is releasing the saga that captures the century-spanning generational war between the forces of science and mysticism for control of immortality through Z2 Comics. With covers by Bill Sienkiewicz, this is an epic tale that you won’t want to miss

BONUS REVIEW by John Elle

Most who know me, know I am a huge Iron Maiden fan. Bruce Dickinson's solo work is something I constantly point out to people as "brilliant". This past December he released the first "single" from his upcoming album The Mandrake Project, Afterglow Of Ragnarok. This comic gives us a much clearer insight as to what to expect from the upcoming concept album. The story is a bit Alice Cooper's The Last Temptation, meets John Constantine Hellblazer. As I am a fan of both of these things, I feel safe saying if you like either, you will enjoy this.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
