Shanna Wallace - Manager
Daughter of Jean Gray and Jesse Custer, Shanna was kidnapped and taken to the future by Warren Ellis who corrupted her mind with government conspiracies and mind altering drugs (by force). It has been her life's ambition to tell readers what they should be reading, hence her almost frightening enthusiasm.

Also moonlighting as Shanna Berry in the world renowned band, Pork 'n Beans.
Check out a music video!

Nick Lipe
I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want.
If you’re looking for comics, I can’t tell you for sure I have them, but what I do have are a particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a long career.
Skills that make me a dream for people like you.
I will look for them, I will find them,
and we will talk about them.

Honestly, I love nothing more than seeing all of you in here, talking for hours and hours. So I hope you don’t mind me excitedly asking about what you love, and letting you know what I’m into.

Ryan Kuite
Raised on a steady diet of classic literature (that's right, the kind with no pictures), Ryan developed a hunger for reading at an early age. Despite his childhood obsession with Calvin and Hobbes, it wasn't until college that he bought his first comic book. But oh, how sweet that first taste was, growing quickly into an insatiable appetite. Cutting his teeth on the creator-owned series of notable authors, Ryan eventually made his way into the realm of superheroes. His passion for music, comics, and unquenchable lust for life can be overwhelming, but don't be alarmed. It's all out of love. Come and visit him. He likes making new friends.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, his last name is pronounced as if there is no "u". That's right, like the thing you fly.

Gavin Rehfeldt
Born of the clan "Ray-felt", Gavin is the last known descendant of an Icelandic Harajuku tribe who hunted demonic squirrels for the Guild of Calamitous Intent. When not crafting tranquilizer capsules to plant within acorns, continuing his ancestors' legacy, he sells funny books, makes exhibits, and explores and works in various areas of arts management. Gavin may have the singular distinction of starting his Graham Crackers Odyssey on 9/11 at the Loop store. Additionally, he worked in his current store location on the 10th anniversary. Hey, change of subject, have you read Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing? So awesome.

Hey, also! Watch Gavin's puppet vidjo and drink hot tea!

Cameron Petti
When his accomplices were captured by Spider-Man, one of the bandits escaped into the sewers. He soon stumbled on a secret hideout that had once belonged to Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin. Realizing the value of what he had found, the bandit contacted an unnamed associate. But the mysterious man murdered the bandit and looted the lair. Cameron Petti is that associate, and he now happily uses his new found equipment to be a part time employee of Graham Cracker Comics!

Edgewater Store Testimonial #1:

We came in to your store this morning for Free Comic Book Day and had
such a great experience! The store looked great and the staff was so
friendly and helpful- and I enjoyed chatting with you about the books

and your recommendations! I'm by no means a hardcore comic reader, but
I always enjoy what I do give myself the chance to read. It can be
intimidating to know where to begin - but you were all very welcoming
and helpful. I look forward to visiting much more often!

Looking forward to getting started with that Teen Titan vol 1 when it
arrives, and really excited about Henson's Tale of Sand too! Thanks
again for the suggestions, and for taking my name down for those
books.

Hope the day was a success - see you again soon!!

Edgewater Store Testimonial #2:

Shanna you are - by FAR - the most considerate and awesome manager we've EVER encountered. And we're not just talking about as a comic book store manager - we mean as a store manager PERIOD. Its rare to see someone who has a true passion and enthusiasm for the product they represent - and its also very apparent that you not only love the product - but the store itself as well. That's incredibly rare to see - and we're lucky we are able to witness it each week.

Plus, we also really consider you and Nick Lipe friends - not just weekly acquaintances. We feel lucky to be able to come in and interact with fellow comic geeks as both friends and comic compatriots.
