"First things first: if you didn’t read Ed Brubaker’s 12-part “Rise and Fall of the Shi’Ar Empire”, don’t expect to know/care much about what’s going on here. Those of you that did read the 12-parter, expect to be immediately underwhelmed by the art. Paco Diaz is clerarly a guy who could do a Marvel mini like this… after about two more years of practice. Basic things like faces, perspective and page layout are more flawed than a Marvel title should ever be. Hard to see why Marvel let this one go out like this."
