Uncanny X-Men #503 (1981) previews exclusive land variant $4.99 Quantity
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by MATT FRACTION Pencils & Cover by GREG LAND Who will save the X-Men from the Hellfire Cult? It’s not Wolverine. It’s not Cyclops. But it better be someone because they’re a minute from death. And who is that mysterious red-head? Date Available: 10/15/2008 BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON Writers: Matt Fraction & Ed Brubaker Art: Greg Land and some reference mags Okay, so Land draws Cannonball to look just like Johnny from Ult. FF. Clearly he only has a few male model references to base his drawings on, but if you can see past all of that ~ you end up with one of the most 'readable' X-titles around. I love what Fraction & Brubaker are doing - it's very palatable stuff. Great dialogue, and the usual X-Men formula stuff we've been seeing repeat every 10 to 15 years. But fun nonetheless. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
