Reviews

The SUPERIOR Spider-Man has returned.

Kraven's Last Hunt is an all time Spidey classic. Kraven buries Peter alive, eats a bunch of spiders, throws on a black suit and goes out to show he'd be better as Spider-Man.

Sound familiar, Doc Ock fans?

Unlike Superior Spider-Man, Kraven's Last Hunt ends with shotgun full of finality, BUT! WHAT IF??!?! it didn't?
Original writer JM DeMatteis teams up with Yildray Cinar to bring back some magic in this well worn territory. Cinar is able to ape Mike Zeck/Bob McLeod pretty nicely. DeMatteis brings some weight to the proceedings (in a way that realllllly didn't happen in his 'Lost Hunt' mini series). In the end, we get a nice stand alone Spidey story with a broken brained Peter Parker, a wrong at every step Kraven, and a plausable return for a specific black costume.

Highly recommended for older Spider fans, recommended for everyone else. It should make you want to read Kraven's Last Hunt whichever group you fall in.
