Reviews

'All Out War' ends, and I'm happy to report that pretty much none of my pre-determined outcomes actually came out the way I thought. This issue is very much a denouement. Kirkman uses this issue well to re-define where our survivors are at and where they might go from here. One of our heroes (I won't say who) gives a speech to all the survivors that's as much for the readers as it is to the crowds: 'We need to be better than we were'. I'll agree with that, as my own blood lust was not sated with the resolution to this story line. I hope he's able to follow through on the promise. It really would change the book, and I think you'd get comic readers who'd stick around for issues like 'Agriculture!' pt. 6 in a way that you never would with the TV show. Enjoy some rest Charlie Adlard....you did it!
