"‘Death of a Goblin’ concludes as Ultimate Mephisto offers Ultimate Spidey a chance to save Ms. Lion, but only if he trades his love of Yiddish expressions and… oh, no, wait. That’s just some fanfic I’ve been working on. Never mind. Be on the lookout for ‘Ultimate Spider-Man: One More Vey!’ somewhere on the internets in 2008. This thing, though… ‘Death of a Goblin’ concludes as Spidey gets smack dab in the middle of a brawl between SHIELD, Norman Goblin and Harry Goblin. (Harry Goblin, on the cover, has a bit of Gargoyle going on. I guess that Marvel Comics Presents gig on Hellcat stuck with Immonen.) Massive action is the order of the day, as Stuart Immonen goes widescreen and epic, with a deft blend of cinematic brawling and good ol’ fashioned ‘I know where to look next’ page layout storytelling. And yeah, a Goblin dies. Overall, it’s an excellent end to an excellent arc."
