 Aw h*ll. It's great. It's a clean slate. It's drenched in history and lore. It carries every good and bad weight a superhero comic can provide. Hickman's writing has never seemed so small, and that's humanizing. Checchetto carries on his stellar streak that will be crippling when Mike Hawthorne or someone else comes on for the inevitable fill in issue or arc. You know this Peter Parker, but you don't know him. If you're a little bit older, this might be the Peter you thought you'd have in 'Amazing' now, but you don't know him. A hero for the middle ages and the middle aged. A reminder to us all to just try and be our best. And if you can't be your best, try to be better. Isn't that EXACTLY what super hero comics are supposed to do? Highly recommended. I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
