SERIES FINALE! The end of an era! A tale of triumph and tragedy! The GREEN GOBLIN unmasked! A hero reborn! But what does this mean for OTTO OCTAVIUS?! There's only one man who can save us from the Goblin Nation… PETER PARKER: The one, true SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN!
Date Available: 4/16/2014
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

There's a lot of expectations going into the end of Superior Spider-Man. Without ruining anything, let's tick off the biggies:1. Peter is back as Spider-Man- Check plus!, 2.Something bigger is at play than we think based on previous issues- Check!, 3. Peter uses his past experiences and Otto memories together to stay ahead of the Goblins- Check minus-there's a missed opportunity that's not missed, but left to carry over to Amazing on April 30th. 4. There's no way to overcome everything every time, and no amount of planning can address all possible damages-Check!Someone gets hurt badly in classic Spidey fashion.6.There's a back up story that has inferior art but an o.k. script to move pieces into place with the entire supporting cast for Amazing #1-Check, but check minus because of the art and MJs attitude. I'm calling 'lame and out of character to leave room for other romantic interests' ahead of time. The best of this series was over the previous three issues, and the real climax has already happened. You won't get many surprises with this one, but you'll get your money's worth.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
